Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Steer, an AI-powered Vedic astrology life coaching application. These Terms apply to your use of Steer on any platform, including our mobile applications (iOS, Android), web applications, and integrated services such as ChatGPT App (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Steer Corp ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Steer provides AI-generated Vedic astrology readings, birth chart analysis (Kundali), dasha predictions, daily Panchang, planetary transit analysis, and life coaching insights. The Service uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze astrological data based on traditional Vedic (Jyotish) principles and provide personalized guidance.

2.1 Platforms and Integrations

The Service is available through multiple platforms:

• Mobile Applications: Native iOS and Android applications
• Web Applications: Browser-based access to Steer features
• Third-Party Integrations: Access through platforms such as ChatGPT and other AI assistants

When using Steer through third-party platforms (such as ChatGPT), you are also subject to that platform's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All readings and guidance are generated by artificial intelligence. You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or be entirely incorrect
• AI systems can produce "hallucinations" (plausible-sounding but factually wrong information)
• AI does not have the ability to verify facts, dates, events, or any real-world information
• AI cannot predict the future; any apparent predictions are purely for informational and self-reflection purposes
• AI-generated content should never be used as the sole basis for any decision
• You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it

The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

5.1 Third-Party AI Providers

The Service uses multiple AI providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and others) to generate insights. When using Steer through third-party platforms like ChatGPT, your interactions are processed by that platform's AI systems. We do not control and are not responsible for the AI processing performed by third-party platforms.

Vedic astrology (Jyotish) and related practices are traditional belief systems. You acknowledge that:

• Vedic astrology is based on ancient traditions and cultural practices, not empirical science
• Astrological interpretations have no scientifically validated predictive accuracy
• Birth chart analyses, dasha predictions, Panchang, and planetary transit readings are cultural and spiritual content
• Astrological content cannot determine, control, or predict actual life events
• All astrological content should be viewed as a tool for self-reflection and personal insight only
• Different astrologers and systems may provide different interpretations of the same data

7. User Accounts and Authentication

7.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

7.2 Authentication Methods

Depending on the platform, you may authenticate using various methods including Google Sign-In, email/password, or OAuth through third-party platforms (such as ChatGPT). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service responsibly and acknowledge that:

• You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You will use your own judgment and discretion when interpreting and acting on information from the Service

• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• You will not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission

• Understand that you can delete this data at any time by deleting your profile

10. No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that any defects will be corrected
• Warranties that the Service or servers are free of viruses or harmful components
• Warranties regarding the availability or performance of third-party platforms

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations, or that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEER CORP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, goodwill, or use
• Personal injury, emotional distress, or psychological harm allegedly caused by content
• Financial losses resulting from decisions influenced by content
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any damages arising from statements or conduct of any third party
• Any damages arising from third-party platform outages or issues

THIS APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) $50 USD.

12. Assumption of Risk

By using the Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• You use the Service entirely at your own risk
• You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on content from the Service
• You will independently verify any information before acting on it
• You understand the informational nature of astrological and AI-generated content
• You will not hold the Company liable for any outcomes related to your use of the Service
• You are of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement
• You have read, understood, and agreed to these disclaimers

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any claim that content you provided caused damage to a third party
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

14. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, AI models, astrological algorithms, and user interface designs, are owned by Steer Corp or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to train or develop competing AI systems

15. Third-Party Platforms

15.1 ChatGPT and Other Integrations

When you access Steer through third-party platforms such as ChatGPT:

• You are subject to both these Terms and the third-party platform's terms of service
• The third-party platform may collect and process your data according to their own privacy policy
• We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or conduct of third-party platforms
• Features and functionality may differ from our native applications

15.2 Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

16. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We may also modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• We may delete your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your profile or contacting us.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

18.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in Delaware, United States.

18.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

18.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.

19. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Steer Corp regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

22. Waiver

The failure of Steer Corp to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Steer Corp.

These Terms of Service are effective as of January 2026 and apply to all users of Steer across all platforms, including mobile applications (iOS, Android), web applications, and integrated services.
